“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” -Mark 11:24

People do not receive answers from their prayers, because instead of trusting God, they rely on their prayer.

The scripture states that we do not pray to believe, but we believe that’s why we pray. If we are told to believe when we pray, then it is possible to pray and not believe. Truly, not all prayers bring results. Only prayers resulting from faith move God and receive from Him.

james 1:6a says “But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt…” We are to believe Him first before we act on faith, and then we express that belief in prayer. Faith must be in the heart before a prayer comes out of the mouth.

“For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” -Romans 10:10

Breathren, let us put weight in our prayer.
