ptrmharAt a restaurant, Ambo complained to the waiter about the tough, sinewy meat from the food that he ordered.

Immediately, the waiter took a piece of the meat and chewed it. He said, “Sir, the meat isn’t really sinewy. In fact, it is tender.

Ambo replied, “Of course, I’ve been chewing that piece for minutes!”

Disappointments normally happen in life. This is especially true when things fail to meet our great expectations. About the life to come, we can be confident that our expectations shall be fully met.  In fact, the glory that shall be revealed to us is going to be beyond our expectations.  Paul, in Romans 8:18 tells us,

18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.

In this world, we grieve and mourn, but the pain we experience is but momentary compared to the glory that we will all enjoy in eternity.

May this word encourage us to be patiently waiting, while we face various battles on earth.

Hold on,

Pastor Mhar Contemprato
