Lessons that I’ve learned from Mr. Failure. I’m 52 years old and have spent 27 years in the ministry. I believe I have some “gold nuggets” to share about this dreaded word: failure.
1. No one is exempted from experiencing failure in life. We will encounter this in our life’s journey. It is inevitable. And since it is unavoidable, might as well prepare our mind toward it. Not that we should become pessimistic but instead, become willing to accept the outcome after giving our best effort.
2. Failure is meant to teach us not to destroy us. Once we are in this “dark alley” chapter of our life, be sure to take notes of your experiences. For sure, others will pass this route, too, and they will be interested in what you wrote down.
James 1:2-4 NKJV
2My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience, 4But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
Have a blessed day!
