Life’s journey becomes heavier when we don’t realize that there are things that serve as barriers in front of us. And if we are going to look at the Scriptures, it is the sin that makes life too heavy to bear for us. David once said in Psalm 38:4 & 6, “My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear… I am bowed down and I am brought low.”
I suppose all of us want to nish strong. And there is no other way to nish the journey the way God intends to except by throwing the sin o that so easily entangles us. Hebrews 12:1 tells us, “… Let us throw o everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
