We refer to the letter of the Apostle Paul to the Thessalonians which says, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
One of the essential things we must do when difficult times come in our lives, is to give thanks. We might ask, What? Why?
Or we can also ask, why not?
The verse says, “ALL”. It means everything, whether good or bad. If I got the miracle of healing, I thank God! If I got swept by a strong storm and landslides, I will still be thankful to God, because I am still alive to move on and God is there to carry me on.
Giving thanks helps us to focus on God in times of our affliction or trials, keeps us away from complaining, strengthens our faith, and brings glory to God.
Always remember that, “Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)
So today, in all circumstances you are in, GIVE THANKS for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for YOU!
Thank you Lord Jesus!
