Hi! I am May Faraon, 52, from Outreach Department. I want to take this time to thank our Lord, who is a miracle-working God. I want to testify the miracles that He has done in my husband’s life.
It was year 2013 when my husband, Gil, was diagnosed to have a heart disease and he needed a bypass surgery. We did not take the surgery option because it was so expensive and instead, committed ourselvesto attending ExCEL services where we come to Him with much faith every Saturday. In those five years of attending ExCEL services, my husband regained his strength.
However, last April he was confined in the hospital the doctors found out that he has Pulmonary edema. Everyday he will be taking laboratory tests, checking if they could remove the excess fluid in his lungs. On May 3, the morning before his operation, the nurse injected a vitamin in his dextrose to stop the bleeding but seconds later, he told me that his stomach hurts and he felt a little dizzy. Then, my husband collapsed. He went into sudden cardiac arrest. The following moments were fast; the doctors were trying to revive him and I already saw the flat line on the screen and I feel like I have lost all the energy that I had.
I went to the corner and prayed, ”Hallelujah in Jesus’ Name!” I cried out over and over. I pleaded for Gil’s life and asked the Lord to extend his life.“
God, I don’t want to lose him.”I prayed. At that moment, I tell you, I really felt the presence of God.Seconds later, we heard his groan and his heart rate immediately normalized.“
Lord You are so good! What You said is true; You will never leave us nor forsake us!” (Deuteronomy 31:6) I exclaimed.
I realized that Gil’s near-death-experience should not remain a silent testimony for I have seen miracles after miracles performed upon my husband’s life. Gil is a living testimony, he could have been gone by now but God permitted him to live! Everytime I think of it, I become speechless. All I can do is to thank Him every single day.
I give back the entire honor and all the praises to our God!
