Peace and grace of the Lord be with us all! I am Aina Basit of Ladies Ministry, who is standing to testify the faithfulnesss, goodness and great compassion of our living God! Two and a half years ago, my husband, Dr. Supachai Basit, and I were married late, at the age of 37 and 41 respectively.
Despite this circumstance, we have been longing to have our own child. It was challenging because I used to work in Singapore and we would just be together every 3 months. I had asked God’s favor to let me go back here in our country for good. This was my battle cry before.
I truly believe that what God has joined together will not be separated by any means, either money or people. God granted our prayers last June 2, 2018. I thought that when we are joined together as couple, bearing a child would be easier for me. We were deeply challenged and almost gave up. My mother-in-law was always asking a child from us. One time, she joked around about replacing me if I could not be pregnant. I was hurt.
Nonetheless, I was thankful because we have this ExCEL service. Last June 9, 2018, I have started attending our ExCEL service, which eventually I have become a regular attendee. Sometimes, my husband comes along with me when he has no work. We have both prayed to Almighty God to grant us a child. Moreover, one of my husband’s staff suggested for us to consult a Perinatologist, an OB-Gyne specialist. We immediately met an expert. She told me to undergo various tests, which some of those procedures were really painful. But, I thanked God for sustaining me. The results were good by God’s grace.
However, it was different last March 16. Based on the findings from my transvaginal ultrasound, the doctor found a myoma.
Even I did not hold the official results, I was really crying because I understood what the doctors were discussing since I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines, and in the US. They thought I was crying because of the test I had undergone. But the truth is, I was sorrowful and discouraged because of the found myoma. I thought that it was really impossible for our prayers will be heard. Nevertheless, the Lord is good. He gave wisdom to our Perinatologist because she referred us to a Reproductive Specialist. This expert has told us that the myoma found was small and its location could not hinder me to become pregnant.
Because of the Lord’s guidance, the doctor gave us an effective medication to make my ovaries bigger and my husband’s sperm cells stronger. Last May 6, it was confirmed that my ovary was finally ovulating. Then, my egg cell has been successfully released last May 11 based on my transvaginal ultrasound.
Thankfully, our prayers were heard exactly a year after I came back here. I was pregnant for six weeks now since last June 2. Praise be to God!
