ADJUSTING YOUR LIFE FOR GOD Adjustments are necessary to every believer of Jesus Christ. According to Jesus, “In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.” (Luke 14:33, NIV)
If we say that we have faith in Him, this faith needs to be translated into action and every action needs an adjustment. Even the Bible characters adjusted their lives as proof of their obedience to the Lord.
When Noah received the instruction of God to build an ark (Genesis 6:14), even this project is massive and impossible, the Bible says that Noah did everything just as God commanded him. (Genesis 6:22)
When the LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you (Genesis 12:1). Hebrews 11:8 says, “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.”
Adjusting our lives for God requires:
1. Going with God wherever He is working.
2. Obeying God whatever the cost may be.
3. Total dependence on God to work through you. In Christ,
