If we can only trust God in good times, then our trust is not genuine. Unstoppable faith is trusting God even in the worst trials. Also, faith is trusting God even when it seems like you’re not getting what you have prayed for.
So bad things do happen to good people. But like how bitter medicine brings cure, suffering also brings positive benefits:
✔ A good cure for PRIDE
✔ Presses us into God’s GRACE
✔ A training ground for STRENGTH
✔ Reveals the true nature of our FAITH
Would you still love God passionately even when your life is being threatened because you are a Christian? How about when you know following Him will require a great price? Know that suffering reveals the true nature of our love for God.
“That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:7 NKJV)
