When we go to the doctor for a checkup, we usually receive a prescription, buy the medicine then follow its intake. When we go to the grocery and see “zero calories” on a canned drink, we are often enticed to buy it then we enjoy the drink right after. When our government requires us to wear our face masks, we put an extra effort to find this hard-to-get item from the stores.
When Jesus says His Word, will you Believe And Go on your way?
John 4:46-50 NKJV
46 …And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. 48 Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.” 49 The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!”
Before we go to verse 50, here are some things to note:
1. Nobody is exempted from problems, even the ‘nobleman’. (v46)
2. Jesus allows us to go to Him. (v47)
3. Our faith will be tested. (v48-49)
50 Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.
What is your problem today? God is allowing you to come to him with your faith. When He says the Word, I pray that we will Believe And Go on with much confidence and peace. God’s word is indeed enough for us.
