Christmas season excites many of us. What could be in it that seems to bring us joy that we look forward to celebrate it? The countdown starts as soon as the first “-ber” month comes up.
Now that there are just 86 days (really fast!) left, how much have you prepared in terms of budget for gifts to inaanaks, or for the many family or friends’ parties? There’s much to look forward to, though, it only means “the remembrance” of the birthday of the only Savior we have.
How much more exciting would it be to look forward to His actual homecoming? Are we (at any rate) preparing for it though we know it’s soon but unsure of the actual ‘when’?
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For, “in just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” (Hebrews 10:36-18 NIV)
Let us remember the Celebrator in this forthcoming celebration.
Loving you in Christ,
