Have you experienced waking up early to prepare for work, eating a healthy breakfast, running for the bus so you won’t get late, only to get stuck in a heavy traffic causing your delay? Such big discomfort. And when you dwell on it, you might do things tat will worsen the situation. Satan becomes comfortable when you don’t know what to do with you discomfort.
Discomforts are part of our lives. God allows these to happen for us to mature, have our breakthrough, and expand our comfort zone.
Paul had his own discomfort while serving the Lord. He had “thorn in the flesh.” But from this thorn, Paul learned to get comfort from God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NLT)
…God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others.
Even in your great discomfort, God still has the greater comfort for you.
