Hello, I’m Julie Bernardo from Connection Ministry. I’m here to testify God’s faithfulness in my life.
I’m a factory worker and was favored to continue my studies. I took bachelor of Education Major in Mathematics. In 2016, I completed college and immediately take the teacher’s examination. While in the midst of reviewing, I did not know that the challenges the enemy have prepared would come and try me.
In June 2017, my mother was diagnosed of having kidney failure. I can barely manage my studies and work while taking care of my mom. After a month, my mother passed away. That time, I did not hesitate to cling to the Lord. His love has overtaken my sorrows, I felt His care and His comfort throughout the season. I also thank those people who prayed and comforted us.
Despite of what happened, I decided to take the examination without much review. However, God is teaching me something and He reminded me of that faith without action is dead. I know that God is telling me to do my part; I’m almost there, I just need to keep going. Even if I failed on the first test, this will not hinder me to pursue my dreams, as our battlecry says, ‘Go beyond your limits!’ For over months of investing a lot of time in reviewing, I became determined to retake the exam.
One Saturday before the test, I attended ExCEL Service and surrendered all to God. I asked for wisdom and guidance. While I was taking the exam, I did not stop praying to the Lord. Truly, God moved in my life. There were delays in the results but little did I know that it was the message of the Lord because He gave me vision; I’m going to testify His goodness in front of many people.
On May 2018, by God’s grace, I passed the board exam!
Indeed, if you come to Him with much faith, He will bless you. When He saw how persistent you are in your request, He will surely grant the desire of your heart.
