“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NIV)
The recent sudden turn of events and tragedies brings a lot of questions in our minds. As these pressing and painful trials may hit us emotionally, please be reminded that these should make us trust in God more. As we see our weaknesses and feel our helplessness, we need to cling more unto His promises.
The Creator of the universe comes to comfort us and says, “Don’t be afraid; don’t be discouraged.” God is always in charge, and He promises to stay close to us: “The LORD, your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Each day, we wake up to take on another day. We continue with our lives through each passing moment. Let us be grateful that we are able to take another breath. As we wake up every morning, may we realize the grand opportunities being presented to us by God. Embrace God’s fresh beginning for us.
Everyday grateful,
Ptr. Gary Yalung
