As human beings, we have different opinions on the greatest event in human history. Some say it is the creation of the world; to some, it is the crucifixion of Jesus; to others, it is the Pentecost.
Do we really have a common understanding of the greatest event that happened in human history? Well, the Scriptures describe it in John 11:25.
Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.”
The very exit of Jesus of Nazareth from the tomb has been the unprecedented event in the history of man.
How does this event (Christ’s Resurrection) affect our lives everyday? We need to learn from what Jesus demonstrated through His resurrection:
- The power to be limitless. He showed limitless compassion, forgiveness and love to His disciples.
- The power to overcome fear. He replaced the fear of His followers with faith.
- The power of His spoken words. The words He spoke created the following:
- Peace
- Purpose
- Power
Through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we can have the confidence to live in power to become limitless, power to overcome any fear and power to live in peace and with purpose.
