Good morning! I stand here to testify how God moved miraculously in my life.
I had no idea that I was sick and would have these diseases. To start with, I am very stubborn in our family. I am just working for the sake of earning money for my family and right after work hours, I spend time only with myself. Suddenly, sickness hit me when my liver got infected. Around August 2018, my immune system level dropped. One night, my stomach ached badly and then after 2 weeks, it bloated. My wife thought it’s because of something that I ate which cause the pain. I used to defacate up to 6 times a day. During this time, whenever I had eaten something, it tend to release it right away. They thought it’s something good and healthy but my wife noticed that it’s not something normal to happen everyday. She started worrying. A night came, where after she attended to me after going home from work. I screamed out of extreme pain in my stomach. We prayed to the Lord despite of the severe pain experienced that night. We have a tricycle but no one could drive that midnight. I just pacified myself by saying that it’s going to be okay. If it would be worse, then I would go to the hospital in the morning.
During the check up, the first question that was asked is, “What did you eat?” The nurse asked me to pee for a laboratory test on top of the blood test. But I haven’t peed since last night and still couldn’t no matter how hard I tried. They insisted that they need the urine test to determine if the infection is coming from the blood. My tummy was so hard that they provided me a hot compress. The solution to make the urine came out of my body since I couldn’t pee is the use of a “catheter”. I was warned that the urine will not be released inside my body, it would explode. When they used that “catheter”, they hit something that made the urine explode in my body to gain a urine sample . With the continuous usage of “catheter”, it caused an acute infection, requiring my body to get an ultrasound. My stomach bloated even more while using the “catheter”.
We went back to Dasca Hospital for the results of ultrasound. We are unable to visit a private hospital due to insufficient funds. We called our child who is working in Dubai for financial assistance and our child insisted to us to go to a better hospital. My situation was hopeless. All we could do is to pray. We went to GMF hospital in Dasmarinas Town Proper but there was no available Orthopedic Doctor. We went to other hospitals but we can’t be attended due to long queues. They recommended to try being admitted in EAC hospital but there were three more people who were waiting before us. The last hospital we tried is DCMC in Salawag. It’s already 6:30 pm and the rain was falling. We only have PHP 5,000 for the downpayment in order to be assisted by the doctors but they could not accept it! My wife was already stressed out and irritated with the doctors and nurses there because it took us five hours to undergo the laboratory tests. Overall, we spent PHP 89,000 just for 5 days of hospitalization.
Later on, they found 2 lump nodes in me and I was told to undergo an operation. I was diagnosed having Liver Cirrhosis and Hepatitis B. They did surgery to remove the stool that was stored in my body for quite a long time. It was an 18-inch cut at the right side of my belly. They did removed the lumps cause these were Iike jellies that eventually getting smaller and smaller. I decided to take herbal medicine instead of the one prescribed by the doctor. The main medicine that healed me is the one that the LORD has given! God allowed us to used the Barley herbal medicine for me to recover. For the past two results of my Biopsy, all results have become negative!
During the 3rd week of September 2018, I attended the ExCEL services after being diagnosed. It was only a month after my operation, I have already attended the services while on a wheelchair. This is to show the Lord my full dedication uttering this prayer, “I am ready to be used for His glory and started claiming that I am healed.” The Lord truly provides everything since Day 1 of my hospitalization until my recuperation period.
Currently, I minister full time in the Outreach Ministry and my desire is to bring more lost and thirsty souls for Christ. I believe that blessing will surely overflow when you commit yourself to Him. “Wag tayo mawalan ng pag-asa kasi nandiyan ang Panginoon para tayo ay tulungan!”
