From a miracle baby, desire for spiritual growth down to the financial provision for a baby’s birth! How gracious is our Lord to provide their needs in a perfect timing.
To start our speaker’s story, Bro. Jeric is a regular attendee of ExCEL service. In fact, he already testified months ago before this testimony. He shared about his marriage with her wife and possibility of not having their own children.
However, thank the Lord for having this kind of avenue, where we have the freedom to pray unto God for whatever we need in life. Why? Because after three years of their marriage, his wife got pregnant. On August 12, their answered prayer was born and he was named, John Gerald.
Meanwhile, they had financial struggles when her wife was about to give birth. Jeric’s income simply pays their house expenses and his wife has no work yet. Her wife is a teacher by profession but Jeric encouraged her not to renew the contract in teaching for the meantime. On the other hand, Jeric is a freelance designer. To sum up, the Lord has used Jeric to provide for their new family’s daily needs.
Hence, Jeric believes that he has a connection with the Source, and God is the real Provider. As the burden is getting heavy, God used a church training to work in his life. LIFE MOVERS (Man of Vision Exclaiming Redeemer’s Salvation) offers training to those who have the potential to become a pastor. And by God’s favor, Jeric is one of the recommended potential pastors to join. They would be immersing themselves in the study of the Word of the Lord, as well as would undergo training about church leadership.
Jeric felt uneasy when he learned that he would be joining a two-week program and his wife was unhappy about it. Right after, he mentioned that concern to his pastor. His pastor replied, “First, if you choose your wife, it’s a good thing because you will feel comfortable because she will not get worried about you being not around. But, if you choose the Lord, that’s fine too. You want to help yourself to go deeper in worship and in the ministry. ”
When they talked again, Jeric chose the Lord’s will. During that time, they didn’t not have enough money. Prayers and faith were activated at that time. Jeric did not stop attending ExCEL services and did continue serving the Lord. Until one day in his prayer, Jeric asked for a sign from the Lord, with a very specific prayer:
“Well, if the Lord could not provide until June 15 (start of MOVERS), I would not join LIFE MOVERS as well as if we couldn’t provide the specific amount they were asking for our child’s birth.” Someone advised then that when someone’s give birth, there must be roughly an amount of 70,000 PHP on hand.
Last June 15, God’s will indeed happened as he joined LIFE MOVERS. Because last June 7, the Lord supplied their needs! He answered the exact amount that Jeric was asking for. Truly, the Lord has fulfilled His great provision! Not only that He provided, but He also assured the baby’s normal delivery. Jeric and his wife were both filled with joy and thanksgiving to our gracious Lord.
Indeed, this is a result of prayer and of deep worship and of prayer with steadfast faith. Based on how the Lord has provided to this couple, I believe He can do the same for you; no matter what your situation is. Nothing is impossible with the Lord! Just believe and He will move! No one should be exalted except the Lord and all glory is His!
