Jesus said, “Simon, listen to me! Satan has demanded the right to test each one of you, as a farmer does when he separates wheat from the husks. But Simon, I have prayed that your faith will be strong. And when you have come back to me, help the others.”
( Luke 22:31-32 CEV)
Our enemy has ever since been trying to shake, sift or test the disciples or followers of Jesus Christ, but never prevailed. It is because our Lord Jesus have been praying for His disciples “that their faith will be strong.”
As a believer, aren’t you glad that no less than the Lord Jesus Christ is interceding for you in times of trials and testing? Even to this day, you may be experiencing what Simon experienced, but rest assured that our Lord keeps on praying for you! So there is nothing to fear or fret about. Remember, Jesus prayed for you and the result is always good for you!
