Love has many languages. For a gentleman who is courting a beautiful lady, flowers and chocolates express love. For a husband who wants to impress his wife, uttering words of affection means love. For the children who love their father, respect, honor and admiration. For the congregation who loves their Pastors, prayers and different gestures or forms of appreciation such as submission and obedience to the word of God. For the Pastor who loves the flock, feeding and watching over them. For the man who loves his neighbor, a helping hand in times of need.
All of which describes a clear language of LOVE.
But above all these, God has sent the most beautiful message of all and this can be found in the scripture which I quote: “45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45 ESV)
SERVICE AND GIVING OF HIS OWN LIFE—THIS IS THE LOVE LANGUAGE OF GOD FOR US!
DO YOU LOVE GOD? HOW DO YOU EXPRESS IT?
