Have you ever shot an arrow of prayer?
Most of us have used this approach to prayer in a desperate situation asking for a quick solution.
When Jerusalem was in ruins, Nehemiah did not just weep and mourn. He fasted and prayed. (Nehemiah 1:4) This is why he was able to map out a plan of action in rebuilding the walls. His life-changing prayers were the means by which God accomplished His plan.
Life is full of rebuilding of walls. However, we have nothing to fear because God is the One who builds the walls and restores the city. All we need to do is to utilize our arrows of prayers heavenward and testify that in the early moments of faith, God steps in to rescue us from troubles.
“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV)
