A very poor fellow was teased by someone who said, “If God loves you, why does He not take care of you? Why does God not tell someone to bring you a pair of shoes, warm clothes or a better food?”
The poor lad thought for a moment, then with tears starting to fall from his eyes, said, “I guess God does tell somebody but he or she only forgets.”
God Loves the unlovable and so should we. He loves the sinners and so should we. God loves those people who hurt Him and so should we.
If we as Christians were to love people the way that God does, the world would be totally different. It would be a better place to live in. Churches would not be able to hold all the people that would be inside. Society and culture would be turns upside down.
The Scripture says: “If anyone says. ‘I love God’, yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us the command: he who loves God must also love his brother.” (1 John 4:20-21, ESV)
