Three Sunday schoolers (Ambo, Islaw and Isko) were asked about their dreams in life.
“When I grow up, I want to be a doctor because I want to treat my neighbor for free,” Islaw answered. Meanwhile, Isko said, “When I grow up, I want to be a lawyer because I want to defend my neighbor in court.” Finally, Ambo said, “When I grow up, I want to be their neighbor.”
We can give many good things to our neighbors such as food, clothes, education, and many others. These are all important things that we should give if we are able to do so. However, though they are all important, they only matter in this life alone. As Jesus had said, “What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” (Mark 8:36 NIV).
Therefore, if we wish to give something significant to our neighbors, nothing can surpass about the faith that we found in Jesus. For this will bring them life that they will surely treasure for eternity.
If you are willing to do it but do not know how, I am encouraging you to register for the upcoming Aim and Shoot Principle Training. We will teach you how. You may approach the C2S table this Sunday and join the next batch of people who will go for the dream of saving more souls for the Lord.
Dreaming with you,
Ptr. Mhar Contemprato
