In this age of modern technology, almost everything–from medicinal drugs to food, has its own expiration date. Ironically, even birth and marriage certificates, technically speaking, have to be renewed annually.
However, the Bible says, God’s love and mercies toward us never expire; they never end nor cease. Prophet Jeremiah once declared, “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” (Lamentations 3:22-23, NLT)
Indeed, this is a big relief and an encouraging message amidst the constant discouraging endings. God announced that His mercies are new every morning. They are perpetual and always available to everyone who would call upon Him. Have you recently sinned and have failed to repent? It’s NEVER LATE to come back. Talk to Jesus right now and do not DELAY! Because His love and mercies towards us never expire.
