“The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man: and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.” Genesis 39:2 (NKJV)
The Bible says God was with Joseph. This is especially significant, considering Joseph’s situation his father assumed he was dead, his mother was dead, his brothers sold him, he had no friends, and he was in prison on a false charge. Joseph must have felt terribly alone. But in spite all of these difficulties in his life, Joseph discovered that even when everyone else abandoned him, God remained. God made His presence evident through what He did in Joseph’s life. He did not give Joseph an easy life, yet He blessed him otherwise.
God’s presence does not mean you will not experience hard times. It does mean that no matter what you are going through, you will know that He is with you. We should not measure God’s faithfulness based on our situations in life. No matter how difficult our situation may be, the truth is God is always with us. Be comforted, GOD IS WITH YOU!
