“When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea.” (Exodus 13:17-18, NIV)
We see here that God does not always lead us to a shorter nor easier way because it does not develop our faith in Him.
Negative mentality says, “Please make everything easy, I can’t take it if things are too hard.”
If you know God has asked you to do something, don’t back out just because it gets hard. Instead, spend more time with Him, lean more on Him, and receive more grace from Him.
There are NO SHORCUTS in developing our faith, so we just need to trust and lean on God because He knows what is best for us.
