Good day to all of you! I am Sis. Tess Baybayin. In June 2007, I started to experience unusual aches, like swollen joints and skin rashes. I was afraid to go for a check-up because of what the doctor might tell. Until I decided to go because of continuous pain. Three doctors have diagnosed me, and they have not identified any illness.
Last January 26, 2008, I woke up on my birthday with a high fever. I could not move my whole body. Then, I consulted a cardiologist, which was referred by a colleague. He, then, diagnosed me with lupus based on the symptoms I experienced. I underwent blood test and 2 weeks after, I got the results. I saw something positive but I did not understand what it means. Then, I returned to my doctor and He expounded that the ratio of my antibodies was high, 1 is to 20480, which means I was positive in lupus. He also told me that this disease is incurable. If you hear that your illness is incurable, how would you feel? Then, I realized that I have a God who is alive and faithful. A God who heals all diseases of His people. In the morning of February 14, my 10-year old child made a heart shape with a message: “Dear Mommy, Happy Heart’s Day. Even the doctor said that your illness is incurable, let us pray together to God, who heals everyone, and do not lose hope.”
Four years have passed, I attended the first ExCEL service, even when my breathing was heavy. I prayed for complete healing. After the service, I went for a check-up with an ob-gyne. She advised me to remove my uterus to stop the continuous bleeding, but I had to think and pray about it first. When I rode my way back home, I closed my eyes and prayed to the Lord. Early next morning, the bleeding suddenly stopped. This was a God’s favor!
However, my uterus lining was recurrently growing thick from 2013 to 2015. Everytime I went for a check-up, my doctor advised me to have hospital rest for blood transfusion, which happened almost four to five times.
On July 2015, I decided to undergo the surgery. I already prepared the amount of P150,000 to be paid and attended consultation before the operation. But when I checked my balance, I only have P90,000 left. I went back and told to my ob-gyne that I do not have enough fund so she decided to wait the last cut-off of my card.
On the same year, I was amazed that God made miracles so the operation would not happen. The bleeding stopped and my womb was not removed! I went back to normal.
Thus, I want to thank God on what He had done to my life. I encourage anyone who is experiencing illness for a long time and might be incurable, surrender it to God. He surely fulfills His promises. In Matthew 19:26, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Thank you!
