Good day to all! I am Arvin Nicodemus Torres from the Dance Ministry. I just wanted to share to you the power and faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ, according to my own experience.
In 2002, I was diagnosed with epilepsy. My first attack happened when I was about to go to the bathroom but then I lost consciousness, When it’s all over, I had trouble remembering what had happened. I was bleeding, one of my teeth fall out and my face was dislocated. That one attack was followed by two more seizures. Until I reached the fourth seizure which happened again in the bathroom. During that time, the grip of the water got broken. My family rushed me to the nearest hospital and I was admitted immediately. This is my picture when I got discharged from the hospital.
After years of praying, I underwent an electroencephalogram (EEG). Based on the interpretation of the test, no seizures have been recorded. Praise the Lord! After that, I no longer have serious seizure attacks.
There will come a time that some of our decisions will be our consequence. Yet, there are a lot of times that it will be a testimony to other people. This is my personal experience of healing by God. Let this be an encouragement to each one of you.
The Lord is good. Therefore His plans for me are good. His Word in Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ” Whatever season I’ll be in, I know His goodness is written all over it.
He truly works in mysterious ways. Why? God has placed me again to where my heart belongs- in dancing. Due to my past condition, I needed to stop what I am very passionate about. At first, it was hard for me because I am part of the Dance Ministry since I was seven years old. Hence, God allowed me to continue my life. No disorder can hinder me in serving Him. More than that, I just recently graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management.
Indeed, God is mighty and He reigns forever! He deserves all the praises! To those who are struggling whether it’s about family, financial, health or relationship, know that nothing is impossible with God. There’s power in the name of Jesus! And He is glorious in our lives. The favor of the Lord didn’t stop there because I heeded the call of being a part of the Nueva Viscaya Mission. I am grateful and blessed to stand here and to be a living testimony. I am a living proof that God is real and He is the One who holds our future. Neglecting us is never His option.
