2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV says, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
In the Old Testament, we are led to Christ through the Law; but in the New Testament, the Holy Spirit’s ministry of grace makes us like Christ — moving in our lives to bring us into the likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ.
To meet the standard, the world may modify our behavior and produce superficial change, but only the Holy Spirit alone can transform us into the new life in Christ that we have received during salvation.
I pray that we are included in the phrase, “we all”, mentioned in 2 Corinthians 3:18 ; may we continue to be changed into the image and likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ with the passing of each day. May we show forth His goodness and grace, not only in our lips but more in our lives – by giving ourselves up to His praise and glory.
