We see people achieve great things, and somehow, we ask ourselves, “Why don’t we have those?” The problem we have nowadays is that we allow the environment, other people, and situations define who we are. Worse, the more we focus on these things, the more we become frustrated. The Bible says “we are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6)
The Word of God describes us differently. It tells us that we belong to God and we are victorious in His marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9 (GW)
9 However, you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, people who belong to God. You were chosen to tell about the excellent qualities of God, who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Let me say again what Apostle Peter has said, “You were chosen as people belonging to God.” So, cheer up and continue to tell others about the excellence of God in your life. Live victoriously in God’s presence.
