Amos 8:11-12 NIV:
11 “The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign LORD, “when I will send a famine through the land— not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD.
12 People will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the LORD, but they will not find it.
Who knows what our future holds? If we will consider what happened last year, we might think that we cannot survive unless we really work double time. But the truth is, because we have passed through all the challenges of this pandemic and we are still alive today, God has been faithful to us.
Most people say that if they work hard today, they will get the success and the satisfaction. But life is not all about work and finding satisfaction. God reminds us the importance of His Word. The Word of God will really satisfy your hungry soul and is the key to keep us winning in this life’s battles. Without the Word of God, people will search for everything but will still remain weak and empty. ONLY THE WORD OF GOD CAN SATISFY OUR SOUL.
