Good morning, Praise the Lord! I am Tess Baybayin, I’m from Ushering Ministry and I am currently assisting our church attendees during our 5th service every Sunday.
Last September 2018, I had my first testimony on how God healed my Lupus. He also saved me from uterus removal operation. Truly, God has been so good in my life.
Here I am again, thanking him for what He has done. For the nth time, He amazingly performed a great miracle in my life. Let me tell you about our company’s annual physical examination. Every year, we ought to take some tests to check our health, and for the past two years, they have been seeing an abnormality in my heart. They also found out that in the previous year, that there’s something in my lungs- which happened to be pulmonary hypertension. Thereafter, I went to see my former doctor (the doctor when I had Lupus.) He said I needed to take a CT scan. I immediately sent the results to the doctor and he told me that I have “interstitial lung disease.”
I asked him, “Doc, what is that?” He replied to me, ” It means that you have that blood pressure in your lungs which continue to rise. One more thing, Tess, this disease is incurable. However, we can do medication to prevent the symptoms you are currently experiencing.”
The medication would happen every 2 weeks, two sessions in one month cost 90,000 and I would do it for a year. I assume, including the hospital bills, would cost half a million pesos. Out of desperation, I asked the doctor where can I get that huge money. He mentioned that I could seek from government agencies and he convinced me to take the session. I was advised that I should take that operation as soon as possible. When I told my family about this, I was surprised by the reaction of my children that they would make a way to make it happen.
But, God used people to bring Him closer to me. I asked Pastor Gary’s daughter, since she is my workmate if I can make an appointment with Pastor, because I would be give a testimony about my other illnesses. She said I must attend the ExCEL Service. And there, I attended that Saturday. When a leader laid hands and prayed over me, I was slained by the Holy Spirit. After that, a goose-bump feeling covered me. This is what I exactly prayed at that moment, “Lord, tama na po, baka po hindi ko na kayanin. Pagalingin mo po ako.” At that point, I know that God did something miraculously in me.
Subsequently, I sent a message to my doctor and emailed him that I will not take the medication because I do not have enough money. I would just depend on God’s hands. Again, I went to the corner of our house, prayed to Him while listening to the song, “Just One Touch.” I uttered wholeheartedly, “I surrender this to You, Jesus. You are the One who gives me life. Today, I will forget about my complication.” I concluded that life must go on.
Just this year, we had our annual physical examination. According to the results, both lungs are cleared! Despite that fact, I still consulted my doctor and he recommended to catch another laboratory test. Based on the second test, the pulmonary pressure is already normal!
I will endlessly thank God for what He has done in me. In fact, I cannot express what I feel right now. I am just overwhelmed, happy and thankful because He has been pouring so muc blessings unto my life. Indeed, He is alive! I am not really comfortable talking to a large number of people. But now, I won’t hesitate to declare how faithful our God is. He said in His Word in Hebrews 13:8, He is the same God yesterday, today, and forevermore. I would like to end this message by encouraging all of you, to put your trust fully unto the Lord. Eventhough it seems hopeless, even the doctor’s declared his prognosis. It may seem no way out, always pray and seek Jesus. Surrender your whole heart and connect yourself not just with others, but most especially to Him. When you do it, without a doubt, He will completely heal you.
